Okay, so which 3M tape is good, 3M has a ton of different tapes for different applications.. which one did you guys use, if there is no part number, how about a pic so i can get one too...

"Ordinary" double sided tape found in hardware stores is not the same - it isn't up to the job of keeping things stuck on cars!

That's all I used to install my RDSport trunk spoiler.

I didn't use silicone on my spoiler. Note his sanding instructions, this is key in getting the replicas to fit properly on your trunk. Otherwise you will have gaps, and you can't heat it enough to fit correctly - this is due to the manufacturing mold.

thanks guys but i ended up just trying out red 3m and it worked great.after the install it started raining crazy and its still on there so its good.i think the key is sanding for great adhesion on the spoiler and weighing it down atleast overnight so it can settle.
