Exterior mods is a little different than a insignificance of a foot rest
I was just asking a question anyway. To me it doesn't seem like a big deal though, I guess to others it is
Neaaah.... No it's not a big deal to me either. Just had an opportunity to get it so I did.

I already had MOMO's aluminium pedals so I was kind of missing it (footrest) too.

So it's all about using the force ha?
The OEM one is glued to the rug. And they use enough glue to build a battle ship... well almost.

I was afraid I was going to tear the rug apart trying to get the old one out. What I ended up doing was putting a cutting wheel on my dremel and cutting the old one along the corner lengthwise so I could get at the glued back sides underneath. Then you take a razor blade and cut the rug away were its glued to the old pedal. Total pain in the ass. The new one takes about 5 minutes to install.

I'm sorry but whats the big deal with the foot rest? Not being an arse, just an honest question.
The OEM one looks like crap after 6 months and looks kind of cheap for a $60k car.

Besides, proper modding is in the details, which means more than just body kits and wheels. You can't even see my Bav Soundwerks speakers, but DAMN do they make a difference. It's all about how much detail you want in your mods. The footrest looks cool

That was a great price. You should get the X6 pedals to complete the package.
