I wonder if they switched to Goodyears because of complaints about the tire noise of the Dunlops after about 7000 miles?

I'm not sure about the E60, but on my Mini Cooper S they offered about 3 choices of runflats, including Goodyears. Seems like it was luck-of-the draw on which ones you got.

BTW, how's the first few days of ownership 535dse?

I have Bridgestone rungflats. They've been fine so far.

I don't wanna be anal about the runflats all the time but I have noticed that now the temperatures over here are dropping (around 8 degrees celcius) the tires are making more and more noise and are harsher then in the summer.

When I was in Germany last weekend I noticed that with higher tire temperatures the sound is a lot less and the tires are more comfortable. So a higher outside and tire temperature make a difference in my case.

I would love to hear about the Good Year runflats comfort and noise when people have them under their car for a longer period (5000 miles plus)..

Handling is fine. Noise? A bit.

Hi, Wonderfull.Thanks.
Everything about the car is good. The handling, ride steering,brakes.....,However,the single most impressive thing (by a large margin)is that twin turbo diesel.
It's awesome.Just masses of power and torque from tickover.A great feat of auto engineering. At the moment(no high revs) it doesn't feel turbocharged.it just feels like a massive engine!
Can't wait until it's run in.
Regards
