Having recently gone over to non run flats, I have three Goodyear NCT 245/40/18 Runflats for sale.
One pair have about 5mm tread and are available only as a pair £120 + carriage
The third has about 2.5 - 3mm of tread and can be bought with the first pair or separately. £30 + carriage
None of them have any puncture repairs or side wall damage
All are available to collect if you're local

Hi
I was also thinking about switching my tyres to non-runflats. Did you do it for financial reasons or for ride quality? I was thinking of doing it for finiancial reasons, do you think it is worth it? Anything I need to be warned about before I do it?

I did it for financial reasons and because I didn't see any real benefit from the extra £400 a set of Good Year runflats would have cost me over the Falken 452's I went for. Ride quality is a little better and no noticeable effect on handling.
