You should have found this answer as well, it has been much discussed. The Sirius module is in the trunk, driver's side as I recall. The actual install is not too difficult, but you will have to go back to the dealer to get Sirius activated in the iDrive system. I'm afraid it's not simply plug and play.

As for the manuals and OBD tools, afraid I can't help there...

If I find one cheaper that matches and install it myself, do I have to go back to the dealer for reprogramming of the I-Drive???
