Gloss or matt gear selector surround?

While waiting for delivery of a button to allow me to complete my SAT retro-fit, I played with the trim piece around the gear selector to see what looked best with my black high gloss interior.
What do you guys thinks looks best - (standard) gloss, or matt?
Of course the current setup will look like this soon but you get the idea.
