Think about painting the center cap black and leaving the lettering. Undecided on it still. I guess the rivets will stay the same.
I guess the only chrome is rivets, the M5 logo on the side grill and rings around the BMW emblems. Thinking about tinting the headlight too to get rid of the chrome on the eyebrow. Soon.

This is a great mod that very few people do. Kerry and I did this on our X's, but not our M's. It's subtle, yet clean. With the theme you're going for, I would do it.
That's why I did the eyebrow tint too -- I felt the same way.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product at the Rallye Event -- unless of course, you're going to the ER Run next Sunday?

But the ///M badge needs to be removed for sure. There is a chap in my city who drives an E46 318 with a single exhaust pipe, he has an /// M badge on the trunk but has left the "3" from his original "318" badge whilst the "1" and "8" have been removed. It looks dreadful. It is a laughing focal point and I am keen to ask him if he's found 3 of his "lost" exhausts should I ever get the chance!
