My last car was an Audi S4 w/ the 2.7T which had the giac flash and it was an absolute rocket. For me it was a no brainer that i would do the same w/ my new 535. I just got it done tonight and I felt a school boy on Xmas day when i was handed my key back after the new software was loaded in about an hour. I am now in the possession of a totally new car. hats off to GIAC. Those who are driving around w/ the unflashed n54 engine dont know what they are missing. It's unbelievable to me that a guy can hook up my car to a laptop for an hour and hand me back the keys to a monster...Im stoked!

nice, congrats....so do you plan on just getting in reflashed to stock when you bring it in for service?
I've read over on e90posts that once S2 is completed, the hand held switcher/loader will be there next priority...think they stated 2-3 months out...that should get more peole interested in the GIAC flash IMO
happy motoring

Most of the numbers I've seen so far indicate the Piggybacks are still the way to go for #'s..
Also easier to update with new software/hardware.
Interested to see if you dyno your car and what it puts out.

don't know what the exact gains were but it is like driving a totally new car. I am not sure how they tuned it and am a bit of a novice but it is now an extremely fast car, night and day difference

Authorized GIAC dealers charge ~$800.00. To flash back to stock and back to flash is dependent on that GIAC dealer (avg I've seen is ~$50). It is not required, but recommended to flash back to stock prior to service.
