Ok so the Christmas season is over and I am tired of all this giving stuff I have decided to get myself some 20" rims. I have been talking to the guys over at DPE and am pretty much sure that I will be getting these rims..



In a Liquid Cinder finish which is like a light gunmetal color....
Now the thought has been running through my head over and over again to get some lownhart LE1's in the Diamond Noir finish. Badass. Here is a link to there website to see them..

What do you guys think would look better on my Alpine White E60? Also on a side note, what size tires should I get if I plan on getting H&R sport springs? I want NO rubbing Thanks for the input!

 

i will have pics of those and some S20s on a 650 and a 545i respectively very soon, and that should seal the deal for you... these wheels are AMAZING in person.

 

Difintely get the DPE, looks 100x better than the lowenhart. Run 245/30/20 Fronts and 285/25/20 rears, most wide tread without rubbing.

Another vote for DPE.

 

I prefer DPEs over Lowenharts as well. DPE seems more sporty and Lowenharts just seem more blingy....just my .02.

Besides, aren't those LE1s around $2200 a piece?

Go with the DPEs
...Also, do your homework on getting the right offset. I wish I could tell you what it is, but you'll be a lot happier not having to add spacers later or worse, the wheels sticking out too far. I don't know how many times I see cars with nice rims that don't fit properly. :'(

I can get the lowenharts with tires for 5200 but seems like the DPE's have an overwhelming popularity!

 

That's what it says in one of the European Car magazines I have. It actually has a picture of the LE1 but the under Model, it says LVD. That is probably full MSRP though and I'm sure you can get it for less.
