check out Yokohamas, I think the model is A4W AS, or something like that - good reviews.

I have no experience with the kumho's but I had the general's on my e46 and loved them (plus they are wallet friendly), currently I have the toyo T1R's on my e60 but when they are done I will be getting the generals.

I went with Generals for price/performance. They are better designed for moderate winter use even though they are said to be "summer" tires.

Can't really go wrong with either IMO, they are very similar setups.

i would hesitate to put those tires on my car.... but if i really have to choose, then kumho... i saw both tires and kumho is better in construction and rubber compound.

I have the UHP's and love them. I got them for a pretty fair price at Discount Tire here in San Diego.

Kumho's road noise increase with wear and mileage. Is this also true with General UHPs?

I have no experience with Kumho but I do have General as my summer set up.General are cheap and so far very good when it comes to quietness in ride, comfort and regular daily driving. Although with agressive driving, the sidewall flex a lot and I am not too confident with it on cornering.

like most have stated already, they are both very similar so i guess i really cant go wrong with either set. the Generals i know are good but something inside me just tells me to try something new and go with the Kumho's this time.

thanks to those who shared their experience and thoughts on these tires, if anyone else has the Kumho's id really like to hear what you think about them.
