Can somebody help me please with the qty of oil for an aut trany that should be filled back in after draining .I know that part of it can not be drained. And also I had some leaks so it doesn't help measuring the drained one.

Thank's.

what kind of car? year/make/model. What kind of tranny?

the ZF 6HP19 holds 9 liters. On a drain fill you'll get about 3.5-4 liters out. I just replaced the pan/filter on mine. Go to the DIY and look for the thread. If you have leaks you'll obviously be replacing the pan/filter correct?

On my first drain I think I got about I got about 4 liters out and there was one liter stuck in the filter/pan area. When i took that off and drained it everything measured to 5 liters. IMO you should measure what comes out regardless. Drain and fill twice to get about 85%-90% new oil. The rest will be stuck in the torque converter

Thank's a lot man car is 530d 2004 and the tranny I think is the one you mentioned.I knew about those 9 liters.I managed to pull out about 5 of them, changed the oil pan+filter.I refilled with about 6,5, and I am about to do the next drainning.
