Can you take pics of your current trunk setup? I want to see what it looks like. I sold my OEM wheels, so using those is not an option. Plus I think an 18x8 would be too wide anyway.
will do. the 18x8 (i actually have a 19x8.5 in there) will make it, it's just that the compartment tapers just a bit and thus the 245/35 hits the sides about 1/2 way in. the 275/30 made it to about 3/4s of the way in.

I guess I won't be getting Pirelli! Hah.
as far as I'm concerned, only michelins, contis, or bridgestones go on my car.

Ryan,
Welcome to my world. It's the price to pay for having rubberbands for tires. I've had three blowouts; two with Toyo T1R 285/25/20 and one with Falken FK452 285/25/20. I'm on the cusp of two more. One on the front of my Falken FK452 245/30/20 and another on my Yokohama Advan Sport 285/25/20. Currently, I'm riding on my stock wheels & tires until I get both replaced. I would just suggest buying tire insurance and periodically checking for bubbles. Your bubble (and mine) problem can be avoided by using 245/35/20 and 275/30/20, but that wouldn't look as good.

if your trunk is not full you can put a 19" rim for spare instead.

Ill be running Nitto INVOs.... soon. I would go with 295s too but the tires will rub since I'm dumping the rear more

Rubberband tires FTW!

member r1racer is running nitto 555s, but only reason he went with them is because he needed a wider tire for the rear and the Falken in stock didnt fit.

Nothing wrong with Nitto, I just don't like the tread pattern on the INVO's. Kinda funky lookin'.

Haha, wouldn't you look like that too if you had to run a donut to and from Vegas?
