I have an 04 545I and located in Toronto,ON... During the winter i will be storing my car and am wondering if it would be a good idea to put a fuel
antifreeze in the tank to prevent rust and freezing in the fuel lines, rails...etc. It will be stored inside my garage supported by jack stands with the wheels off the car...and i have heard that there are some fuel antifreeze's that actually harm the car instead of helping it...so my question is put it or no?
thanks for your input,
Roger

I store my Z4 and R1 every winter. Just top off the fuel and add some Sta-bil, pull the battery (and put it on a trickle charger) and you should be all set
I personally don't think it's necessary to put the car on jack stands. You may wanna over-inflate the tires a tad, but nowadays you really don't have to worry about flat spots in the tires if that's your reasoning.

For only couple of months I wouldn?t do anything. It doesn?t need any stabilisers for that short period. If it was 1 year, then maybe...
