Good Afternoon -
Has anyone upgraded their Front Turn Signal bulbs to the Leds w/resistors sold by Jlevisw ?
http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/p997/Jlevi...oduct_info.html
My car has the large wedge-type bulb 3457AK....I was advised to order the 3157 bulb for replacement.
Any input ? Have at it !

The wedge it is!!! They work great... What color do you want? White or amber? Amber, I must warn you, is very rich in color... The eyebrows are called amber in color, but the color that is emitted from the LED's make the eyebrow look bright yellow. White (I don't know how street legal these are) is very nice and bright but I chose the amber for legal reasons... Pretty easy install too...

Hi there,
3157 is the correct bulb type for your car. You can run the white legally in the US as DOT requires that the front turn signals be either amber or xenon white in color. The rears must be amber or red.

I have to say .....
After the install - I am a bit underwhelmed by the lack of brightness compared to the OEM yellow bulb.
And, even though it is only a turn signal - the resistor does get quite hot if you leave the signals or hazards on for any length of time.
I may uninstall this mod - even though I like the "color" better than the oem .

I've had this mod for over a year and half and have had no problems. I actually have the 57 LED bulb, which is actually a lot brighter than the 24 LED bulb. If you want, I can find the right bulb for you and the brightness problem would be solved.
As far as the resistor getting hot, hasn't melted anything yet, especially with what I'm holding it with (zip ties).
Let me know if you need pictures.

This is what I have in my turn signal. same setup, just the plug is different. I have the Offset bulb (Euro style) not wedge.
Only way to fit these huge bulbs in is take out the headlight, which is really simple.

Okay -
I replaced the 32 led amber bulbs with 63 Led bulbs. Even though I really like the amber color (which matches the led sidemarkers) I have to tell you I am still underwhelmed by the lack of brightness - when compared to the yellow OEM turnsignal bulb.
Maybe in WHITE it would be brighter ? But right now I'm thinking of just going back to the stock bulbs for front turnsignals.
