To make a long story longer. I moved from Ohio back to Michigan which does not require a front plate . I just received my Michigan plates and decided to remove my Ohio front plate. To my surprise, the previous owner drilled four screws directly into the facia to secure the front plate  . Unless I replace the facia, I'll probably stick another front plate on.

I don't think you have to do that, there some company (can't remember who) but they sell caps for the license plate holes that are pre-painted to match your car. That could work.

Did you even read his post?...no plate isnt really an option because the owner before him screwed holes in the bumper to mount the plate.

I'm going with the euro option...
My wagon came from Cali... I live in Alabama... no front plates in the Deep south except for Texas....

Bought a Euro plate adapter that uses the same wholes... but I've been lazy and have not gotten a Euro plate yet.
