I never wanted to put m-tech or rep m5 bumper on mine - I have no intention of making my car look like a 550 or an M5. This lip, however, makes the OEM bumper look complete - on a darker car, it will blend in, but will show the CF texture up close... I think it'll look way hotter than an replica bumper you throw on it... but that's just my opinion - there is a reason m-tech is the most popular kit too, ya know...

PS the only thing I've been sort of struggling with is my sides - I like the m-skirts, but they won't line up with this lip - only the rear bumper's lip. And the Hamann skirts I'm not impressed with. and an even bigger issue is - for my AW car - the contrast of CF with white on the front, but none on the sides, which I still haven't figured out how to resolve... but again, on a dark car, you won't have that issue.

I was also considering this mod, seems a much cheaper alternative to the m-tech. Also everyone seems to have an m-tech bumper now time for something different.

I wonder is JBSPEED can get us this piece at a better price?

It won't be that bad, besides this is a good option for you - especially since your car is black. Good luck.

Agreed, that is the only reason why I wouldn't get it (kinda have my heart set on the Lumma Bumper from Trinity with Umnitza sides). Other than that it is a good deal and looks really good on Vlad's car.
