Looking good! It's a different beast now! Much more aggressive! I dunno why BMW had the shadowline trim and left the grills chrome!

I totally agree that BMW should have the Grills also be either matt or black...
MAke the car so much different. People heads were turning more today with the black matt trim now.

They just popped off on my car (530) anyway. There are just little expansion tabs that keep tension on that pipe. Maybe one of the M guys can confirm (hint, hint). I think it was three or four coats. You can buy the spray paint at any auto parts place. It's sometimes called engine block paint or header paint, and I think mine was 1200F. The only thing that takes ANY real time is the baking.

I believe this is what I bought (I'm at the office--but I can check later):



The one on the right is 1200F. GL
