I am looking at upgrading my front bumper. Does anyone offer a painted version that is quality and if so at what expense? I know the ideal scenario is to buy one and have it painted, but I am just trying to see what options are available as I am impatient.

I guess if I could just have something shipped, bolt it on, and be ready to roll I would be a happy man. But I am assuming this would cost a fortune if even available.

Any input is appreciated.

I believe from reading other threads that Trinity will paint it and ship it, however, they seem to highly recommend against it. I think it's for two reasons .. 1) in case it's some how damaged in transit (maybe paint only vs scratch/dent) and 2) the color may not match perfectly .. it may be best to have a paint shop do an exact match to account for weathering and the likes.

Hi,

The main reason everyone highly recommends against getting a pre-painted bumper is exactly like crypto has stated.

Basically there is way too much risk involved with shipping damage when it comes to shipping something painted.
Most of our customers demand perfection, and will notice the smallest blems or hairline scratches. So imagine how much of a problem it would be for us to have every customer scrutinizing every paint job that got damaged during shipping.

Regardless, I can get you our M5 Style Bumper

Contact me with any questions at 714.582.3330 x8005.

Best Regards,

Shop the vendors on this forum. You should be able to get a new replica front bumper shipped for under $500 - paint and install for less than that. If you're luck you can score a used one already painted from one of the members here.

i can say from personal experience that having your bumper pre painted is not such a good idea due to shipping. check out my thread for bodykit fitment. i recently put on an m5tech kit from Umnitza the customer service was really good and the product was a perfect match fit!

Do NOT prepaint the bumper.
get the bumper for $405 shipped from us if you can, but don't get it prepainted, this is a BAD idea.
