Just received an email from my Dinan rep at the Morgan Hill, CA location. They are looking for a volunteer with either a 2008 550i or 650i who is willing to loan Dinan their LCI V8 for software testing and uploading. Once the pilot LCI upload is accomplished, then the software will finally be made available for all LCI V8 E60/63 cars. The LCI models have a newer control unit (called ME 9.7) that the non-LCI models don't have. Dinan will only need the car for a day or so and in return, the software upload is free, including future reflashes of the same software version (or "Stage"). The software Stage that gets uploaded will depend on whether one has ... or doesn't have ... Dinan mods.

Sadly I won't be able to make it this time around. I was unable to find someone to cover my weekend shift. You don't know how much that bums me out!

 

Tell people to go to other pharmacies for that weekend. hahaha
