I came across this on craigslist if anyone is looking to purchase a M-Tech kit in the area. It seems like a decent deal...

Not sure why this a good deal? Since you can get the same from BMW dealer w/ parts for $1200+ w/ BMCCA discount.

Which dealer is this? Before I purchased mine the dealers in my surrounding area were quoting me at around $1475 and higher. Some were even over $1800 for the kit. $1200+ is a pretty good deal then...Thats why I also said it was a decent deal. I have seen people paying some high prices so i figured just throw this out there in case anyone was interested.

When I checked several months back (during quad_m days), I got a quote of $1200+ from local dealer.. BMWCCA discount gives you 20-25% off. The paint job would be $700+, then install about $200.. So roughly $2000 for parts+paint+install. Many done it at that price.

I did check with him when I was searching around and it came out to if i remember correctly somewhere around $1275+ shipping which I was told would be anywhere from $150 to $200 to my house. If I was a little closer maybe that would have been a great deal, but considering it being a fairly large package me purchasing that item further away for that price didn't seem worthit. Although other prices on things from gary that were smaller have been excellent prices and extremely worthit.

Maybe some could add some input just for curiosity as to what they are paying for the kit alone to see how good of a deal this is and maybe you could get the guy to knock off some money and make it a great deal. You never know how much some will drop the price, especially when your there with cash in hand...sometimes its worth to take a shot at it!

ya if that guy is local to you.. then $1300 is not bad. Make sure all the parts are included.. sometimes they sell major parts and not minor things.

Very true...Hopefully someone ends up getting a good deal. If I was still in the market for this I would have tried to workout a deal with the seller.
