Hey guys,

So lately being bored of winter I've been thinking a lot about what mods to do come springtime. I got the idea that a set of forgestar F14 wheels in matte black would look great on my car, so the question is am I crazy for thinking about getting rid of my DPE's for a set of foregstars? Should I maybe consider a set of 18" forgestars for winter rather then replacing my DPE's for the summer?

You've all seen what I currently have (look at my sig) and here is a pic of a tiag e60 with the matte black F14 wheels what do you think?

Yes! Why not just get another set of DPEs.

honestly going from a forged wheel to a free flow cast wheel isnt worth it

once you hit forged wheels, going back is tough you will notice the difference in every aspect

they make good looking wheels though, looks really nice

Nothing against Forgestars (I'm considering them for my own car), but DPE is just in a different league. The other thing is that it's relatively rare on a 5-series. Everybody and their grandmother seems to be able to afford them in the 3 series forums, but you have a unique look here.

I say stay with them.

thanks guys, I guess maybe I will consider them to winters and keep the DPE's, I'm just maybe getting bored of the deep dish lip look, I dunno

mrfva's car looks great with the forgestars I borrowed the pic from modbargains ad.

Powdercoat the lip black. Once I did it, I wondered why I didn't do this earlier.
