I drive a 2006 530xi and I was just wondering what bulb I should go with for my fog lights because I'm hating that yellow. Not looking to spend too much. Just a set of bulbs I can pick up from the local automotive store. Just need to know the sizing and also if someone could post a DIY installation for the fog lights.

I have PIAA 4700k bulbs H-259 I believe.

 

Could you please find out the exact bulbs you have? I just don't want to buy something that doesn't fit.

If you want to go with a bulb you can pick up at a local auto store I'll recommend the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's - the bulb # is 9006 and they're readily available for less than $30 / pair. Remember to get the ULTRAs - - the regular Silverstars have very short bulb life.

 

u have 9006 bulbs but i highly reccommend getting them in HIDs. Not only will it be brighter but will look MUCH nicer. PM me for more details. I can offer u an aggressively priced package. Dont waste money in yellow color coated halogen bulbs that burn out easily.
