I ordered the M5tech bumper with fog lights from umnitza a while back and the fog light housings were left out of the shipment. when I finally got them, they were the wrong ones and both left sided. I was able to cut and modify them to fit, but they didn't fit the H8 bulbs from the original bumper. does anyone know what bulbs will work with the M5tech fogs? My car is an 08 LCI. will I need to clip the OEM wires and wire in 9006 adapters?

I think the rep bumpers all come with what amounts to pre-LCI fogs, in which case, yes, the 9006 bulbs are the ones you will need. If you are looking for them contact John@motorcepts - he is our resident lighting guru and can get you pointed in the right direction. Did you try contacting Umnitza about this?

 

I tried but never got any help. It was a while back and Im just now getting around to fixing the issue. Do the 9006 and the H8 use the same connection port and just different mounting tabs???

 

I think they are different, but I would check with John@motorcepts to be sure, again, he is our resident guru when it comes to lighting - he would have a much better idea.

 

I got it done!!! Had to replace the connectors to a 9006. Cut, splice, put it all back together... DONE!!!
