Hi Guys,

Been doing a lot of digging on this subject after a recent decision that I need folding mirrors in my life! I have found a cheap set of LCI Mirrors with door panel and switches from an 08 M Sport, with everything apart from puddle LED's (i could easily retro these later on). I Have read the threads about programming and wiring which seems do-able, although I haven't done any programming as yet. What I'm curious about is the physical fitting. I Seem to recall that the Pre LCI mirrors are different sizes to the LCI Mirrors. My Car is a 2006 (October) M Sport Pre LCI, I suppose I'm asking if the mirrors differ in size at all? and also would the painted covers from my existing mirrors fit the new LCI mirrors?

Sorry if this has already been covered but I cant find a reference to it on here.
