I recently purchase a whole set of CIC (screen, idrive controller, CIC Head unit, cables) of an E91 thinking it will fit directly to our E60. I am still waiting for the shipment. However, I just read a topic on our forum this morning that the CIC headunit from E90 will not fit in our E60 bracket. Could someone please help confirming this? My 5er is 2006 525i with M-ASK system with HIFI option. Thanks a lot folks

My E60 was retrofitted from CIC of E84(E90)
You can not be fixed to the CIC unit side.
It must be fixed on the front panel side.
