So we finally decided to do our first run today with my friend's supercharged 530i. He ran against my friend's VERY strong 335i Coupe. The 335 has dynoed at 293whp and 325wtq so for stock it is putting down very impressive numbers.

Here is how the 335i did against my M5 first:

Now, here is how Jake's Supercharged 530i did against the 335i:

We have an STi lined up to run tomorrow (Friday) That video will be up shortly hopefully

His gearing is perhaps what hurts him the most, with every shift he falls below 5k revs and out of the power band. A more aggressive rear diff or a higher rev limiter (up from his current 7000rpm limiter) would fix that problem.

Trying to get more air

Basically I have him while I was in gear but as soon as i shift my revs fall to 4500 and its takes times for the supercharger to spool back up so thats the issue. If I get a rear diff it will shorten the gears. CANT WAIT UNTIL EVERYTHING WORKS PROPERLY. They still have the dummy valve in my air flow meter and the last and final part should be coming in today. It SHOULD also be the solution to the revving but we'll see. Also I do need to get the mtech or m5 bumper for more air because my outside temp monitor keeps shooting crazy numbers like 98 when its really 80 outside.

What bumper do you guys think, M5 or Mtech, I really love my fogs but I would sacrifice it if the m5 bumper is guaranteed to give me more air to the supercharger!!

Ok, so this proves only that I can spend a crap load of $$$$$$ and STILL not be able to keep up with a 335? Thanks bro, that video was disheartening. Oh well, guess I gotta use the $$$ towards an M5, woe is me.

cool stuff! the first vid was hard to see, but definitely sounded cool... I like the video editing with music and the titles "The War of Asia" and "Showdown of the Persians" was a nice touch...
