The replica mirrors on Schmiedmann's website do not resemble the M5 at all. They look more like the E46 M3 and E39 M5 mirror housing, rather than the new E60 M5's. Notice it doesn't have the black lower half, which in the OEM M5 housing actually detaches (my installer had to disassemble the housing to paint them). I'm sure the replica mirrors aren't electrochromatic either ie no autodimming.
