Yesterday I started a new project.
I went and bought Dynamat Xtreme bulk pack and started dismounting the covers of the trunk. Next week I´ll get the rims and wider tires so I thought to use noise killer to reduce the road noise to minimum.
Gunther at the factory has installed all the trunk covers very very carefully (and tight) so the dismounting is going to take so time...at Sunday I´ll continue.
I didn´t even get all the OEM insulation off from the trunk, but when I went driving the road noise was easily noticeable
It was actually quite loud already at the city cruising speeds...I know I should cover all the metal surfaces with the insulation, but I´ll start from the trunk and the doors and then see how it works
Next time I´ll take some pics...
