Thanks Mel! Glad to hear a different view on how I operate. My g/f just says I'm too stubborn for my own good.

A bump!

Over the weekend, we did two installs for the fade on/off effect for AE and LCI rods.

One of the car was mine, and the other is bstandardz. Actually did bstandardz (Brendon's) before mine, and I will have to officially declare that his car is the first in the West Coast to receive this treatment. We did the LCI brake effect for him as well. Brendon, you need to post pics of all the mods we've worked on

We did deviate from how you did it though Mike, the wiring is similar (but different), and we wired the AE "and" the rods to be on with ignition, basically the same way as LCI models, so no more dealing with the light switch anymore to turn it on and off! Thing things LCI people get for granted, lol.

Two things we didn't wire is the eyebrows and the license plate light. The train of thought is that it's even more wiring, and being that we have white eyebrows, you can't really see the brows and the license plate light anyway. And with the switch on auto, those lighting will turn on automatically when it's dark. What we deem is visibly obvious (and sexy) is the Orions and the rods, so we have those on.

I will probably make a thread of my own and share videos tomorrow

(OT) I'd like to add the tail LED rods to the Angel Eyes Illumination mod but find it hard to get a wire to the trunk.

Has anyone figured out how to access the wire harness by the door sill(near where #1 is pointing to)?

What do you mean joe? access the door sill/ under it? or is the harness in the frame of the body?

Joe, I know we've kind of talked about this over in PM, but I am not understanding why you have problem running the wire through the middle? Which part of the middle sill are you trying to hide the wiring into?

Also, just to share, I actually had one wiring going back via the passenger side only. It's just a lot simpler and cuts down the work to half, lol.

Way too ricey for me, as I still think the lights should flash amber, not white on a car of this caliber. It would be great if you could have it with the invisibulb look, but flash amber.

However, the job itself is pretty amazing. Great job, Mike!
