great car,very nice.
I'm just not sure about the wheels and tyres. It really looks like some SUV and Off-road set, I mean the wheels, not the car
(small wheel + a lot of tyre-rubber), but that is just my opinion

I like your no chrome option

The wheels are 17x8.5 with 245/ZR45/17 W tires. With the potholes around here, I really was not interested in getting bigger (18, 19 or 20's) wheels. I hear a lot of stories about how rims get damaged and tires blowing with the nasty potholes here and in the NY area. The wheels and tires make the car look like it is squatting and lower to the ground. Personal preference. Glad I replaced the grill too.

Nice car!

Do you have a different offset for the front wheels then normal?? Or did you use spacer to get them so wide tracked??

Nothing different for the front or the rear wheels. I made no modifications. The reason they look wider than normal on both the front and the rear is definitely due to the deep lip on the wheels.

Did you buy the car with that M package, or did you buy that aftermarket? I was not aware that it was even available in the US. I do not see it as an option on the bmwusa.com site.

I bought it with the M Package which was installed by the dealer prior to picking it up. I don't think they list it on the US website. The day I walked into the dealership to place the order was the first day that they had a 530i with the package on their floor to show customers and I liked it a lot better than the standard setup.
