The hood was special ordered in and came in last week. Only 5 was ordered, and I believe there is only 1 left when I checked earlier this afternoon.
No conspiracy, lol, you didn't follow the GB and the other hood thread?

Saw his post
Thats primarily why I was thinking it was more of a condescending question. Most folks know that you offer several mods that improve cosmetic features of the car. Plus his post sounded pretty articulate so I'm not giving him that pass. Whatever. Sorry to drift off topic. My bad.
Still tho. Your sh*t would look siiiick if it was dropped ... even a tiny bit.

I see a lot of threads every day that I pay no attention to. I'm pretty happy with where my car is now, stylewise, and if anything I might pump up performance a little, if I can find a cost effective mod. Only recently have I started looking at mods pertaining to brakes, suspension, lsd and cf. Clearly some of the cf is purely show as it wraps around the existing finish, and that's then not for me. Yes there's a part of me that offhand finds it a little ridiculous to lighten such a heavy car but if it really makes a noticeable difference then it might also be for me. A gent on the other thread you refer to, seems to have concluded just that and it does indeed appear to be a significant reduction when both hood and trunk is replaced, ie 50+ lbs. That makes it a worthwhile mod in my book then.
If your primary driver is style, you wouldn't go thru this thought process and if you like it and can afford it, ignore my ramblings and pull the trigger.
