I finally installed my new H&R springs and Koni shocks this past weekend on my 535 and wanted to share the before and after pics. Tell me what you think. Big accomplishment for me because i did the work myself and avoided paying a shop to do it. Big thanks to rizbel (joe) for his DIY https://5series.net/forums/topic/853...l/page__st__30 this proved to be very very helpful. Here are the before and after pics, doesnt look like much of a drop but its definitely something that i notice. Next on my list is some rims.

Your car is like a mod bug magnet
Shadowline is just begging to be done
Looks noticeably better with the new suspension (even with the crappy pics
)
I have h&r springs too and I have that same "rake" too.

i def say do the shadowline trim next....and if its your fancy, do the gloss black vinyl roof wrap. it would look amazing on that alpine white car of yours.
for the shadowline trim, dont you dare go and spend hundreds of dollars on all new trim, i literally got all the materials i needed to turn my matte black SL to gloss black for roughly $30. hi-quality Orcal vinyl too....i love it!

Hey Chris, can you post a link to where you got the vinyl? I'm interested in changing mine matte black to gloss black and for $ 30, it's worth a shot.
Thanks
I do finish carpentry as a hobby and have the hands of a surgeon... I hated the vinyl project! I couldn't get it perfect!

Rides/ handles a lot better. The ride quality wasn't effected either. It's still as smooth as before. Only now when I hit bumps minor or big the car quickly and smoothly springs back to the road without the extra bounces on the stock non sport suspension. The konis are adjustable too so you can go as soft or firm as you want.
Umichchris, yes the trim is something I'm considering. I want to see how it looks with a new set of rims first.
Thanks everyone
