interesting! I wonder if I install those to my 550i step, how would I compare to an e60 m5?
I think 550i with dinan intake, throttle body, exhaust, and stage 3 software can take e39 m5. My 545i transformed into a beast! I bet 550i would be even better.
If i remember correctly, stock 550i is already close enough(13.3 1/4 mile) to e39 m5(I've seen as low as 12.8 but mostly 13.0-13.2).
Does anybody know for sure?

I'm also doing all these mods come May. It's great to hear that it makes that much difference. I really wish I had SMG because I would do the diff as well.
You mentioned your gas mileage went south? How far south?

Now(2 tanks of gas so far) i only getting 18.7MPG.
*BUT* it's only been couple days since I got all these mods, so I tend to find every opportunity to hear my engine and exhaust.
I'm sure I won't notice any significant changes in MPG if I go back to my normal driving style.
I'll let you know after few more weeks. But for now, i'm driving like I stole it

+1, how I wish I had an smg or manual too!
I won't trade for anything else!!
I follow the old school maintenance from the BIMMER magazine provided.
Changing oil every 5k miles, tranny fluid every 30k and so on.
Free of trouble 42k miles on 2005 545i and counting.
Never trust BMW free maintenance!!
