What about Westcoast Customz in LA. They do custom interiors for high-end cars.

I got mine when it came from the dealer $500 for anthracite black....just giving you and idea how much a STEALER costs, so I would imagine you could get it for cheaper?

Glad to hear I am not the only one that thought that price was outrageous. I'll keep hunting. Thanks!

Well, I keep looking for a black headliner to replace my gray, which just doesn't look right with my Auburn seats & Black dash. I found one on eBay today:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E60-M5-...sQ5fAccessories
A whopping $2,399 + $99 shipping! This is way out of my price range. What's your opinion, is this a reasonable price? If so, I guess gray never looked as good to me as it does now.

Go to an upholstery shop. I had the switch done in my last car which included replacing the headliner with a cloth I chose, dying the pillars and all plastics (like the visor clips, handles, etc) for $700. Very reasonable I thought. Granted the material you choose will adjust the rate accordingly but it should still be considerably cheaper than what was linked.
