After six months of trying different options I have finally finished my install. From day one the sound was poor and the low end was very muddy. I still have more to do but this is phase 1. I was able to maximize trunk space short of mounting a sub on the rear deck (rattles). Currently I have a Zapco 500.1 amp on the driver's side. I made a little platform. The 500.1 has an internal fan so the enclosed area is great. The box is a custom made for a 10" and is around .70 cf. Here are some pictures.

Yes I had to tie in after the amp since it is all fiber going in. I just used a high quality LOC. I get plenty of low end. That is why I tried so many subs. Some were too much bass (Boomy) others were great (musical) but not enough output. Yes the trunk is very well sealed. I get a huge roll off around 125Hz but that is more from the factory crossovers. I am waiting on a new product that will fix all of the factory crossovers.

Ya good luck with Nick at Bassforms. You are better off getting it done yourself. I live in south OC and all of the shop owners have strong opinions about him. Their product looks great on a website.
