Thanks Frank. When/if you create another video from the interior, can you talk or make some other sound? I ask, 'cause it is hard to callibrate the sound - if I turn my speakers down, then it's really quiet, but if I turn my speakers up, then it's really loud. By having another noise at the same time, it will help to determine the relative loudness of your magnaflow mod. Make sense?
Thanks,
Randy...
Thanks,

1st half is mostly city driving; 2nd half is mostly highway driving... the static sound on the 2nd-half is from the rain.

Thanks Frank. I appreciate it. Sounds fine to me, especially when you consider that my other is a tad loud
I guess I need to send a PM to r9ndy about selling me his "used" Magnaflow

AT, no mechanical mods - I usuall cruise in the 1.5k-2k RPM range. But honestly, this is the quietest car I've ever driven - it feels/sounds really strange to press on the loud pedal and not hear a thing. Sure, I feel the acceleration, but it's sooo quiet. I want to hear the rumble/growl of the engine.
Thanks,
Randy...

I bot r9ndy's magnaflow on Sunday, and yesterday afternoon Gabe with Precision Muffler ( http://www.precisionmuffler.com/ ) installed it for $95. He spent his time making sure that the magnaflow was level and straight and that the tips stuck out just the right amount. He is a real perfectionist. BTW, it sounds great! Not too loud, but it sure allows the "growl" to come out. Mind you, my 545i is (was) the quietest car I've ever owned, and it just seemed a shame to keep just a hot engine muffled so quietly. I just wonder how my MPG's will be affected by my enjoyment of the "loud pedal"
