Finally a great sounding German made speaker company called Jehnert has made Custom Door Panel Speakers for all us E60 Car Audio Freaks . I started a group buy on these, please visit the Group Buy Section for more info.

Go to http://www.jehnert.de/typo3/index.ph...ds&aid=221&L=1 and see what Im talking about. You get a 3 Way setup consisting of two 4" midrange speakers that go in the stock location, two 1' tweeters that also go into the stock location and two 6.5 midbass drivers that are in the Custom Door Panels and two X-overs.

These speakers are very similiar to the Rainbow Speakers in regards to sound and looks, I've been told. As you guys know, we are very limited in finding good quality speakers that fit our doors. Our prayers have been answered.

They also make custom door panels for other Bimmers and other Car manufacturers.
I believe a fellow member is installing these and is posting a thread on them, do a search, Ill try to find it and paste it here later.

So lets get some buyers I'm excited

I hate to be a ball buster here but your best bet is to add an amp in the trunk and a sub box. The bass is lacking a lot more than the high end.

No question there, but in addition, if your trying to improve the overall sound in your car, these are a great way to improve them.

I have upgraded and installed 2 amps and 2 subs in my trunk as well as upgraded speakers all round. Its a big difference already but using 4" speakers has limitations. This may be a good option!

Is for both standard and logic7. Also for both pre-lci and lci models.

They are for all e60 models regardless of audio system. Possibly an amp combo could also be put together for those interested.

Here are a few more pics and I am sure I can dig up a couple more from e9xs...

The first few pics are of a VW R32, then onto the XE200 under seaters then a few 'open' shots of the e60s.
