I went on German filters.com and couldent find a filter for my car. I was trying to change my oil but I need to buy a filter for my 545i first. Does any one know where you can order a filter

there are many places, but to order just one is not worth the shipping. just go to your local dealer. it should cost like $20 or less.

I used this, Purolator L25511 $13.39 from Advance Auto Parts.

While there, I also picked up the oil, Mobil-1 0w40 European Forumla $6.99

In case you don't have it, this DIY talks about the tools you'll need...

Got mine at Autozone for like $10 and used Castrol Edge for oil! Never go to the stealer for a simple oil change, unless its under maint!

khoalty sells them for about $6, he is a member here and sells the mann filters.

No actually I got the Fram version, but honestly they can make oil filters out of pig intestines or dirty underwear for all I care, as long as it filters oil!
