I'm trying to work out why. they are only on faintly, until you press the break peddle then they fully light.
I've tried a retrofit cable and the V6 cables but no success yet.
Anyone got any ideas? They are original OEM lights bought new through a tuning company.

Maybe it's because of the snow, the lighting, or maybe your car is dirty, but it almost looks like a frozen grey color!! (which I love btw)
Thanks for sharing.

What do you say to the traction (compared to summer tires)? worth the money or?
Hey Pete - confusing this set with my previous 19" set I owned (m166 with 245s all around). Running 275s/20 on my f10 too and must admit hardly have any issues with the heavy winter this year. I do think the discussion 245/275 winter tires for the rear is very psychological. CAn't think that 3cm make such a difference to the traction. But then again, if i had a choice, i woudl go for 245s rear too

Do you want to tell people WHY my V6 cables didn't work? You won't believe how much headache this so-called tuning company has caused me over the years. They sell the lights as Brand New but actually they have modified the lights inside to stop the errors. But then the lights don't work as the LCI lights but more importantly my V6 don't work as well. Without thinking I have swapped sets for people in the past and its only when they report the same problem with the replacement set do I start questioning where the lights have come from. I really need to find out the name of this tuning company. So far its mainly my Dutch customers who are affected.

Yep, it seems I've been scammed. The dutch company selling them is indeed soldering a small wire on the inside of the OEM lights so that their cable doesn't give errors!
Here's the link to them (in dutch of course)]

In Bruce's defense he has been very patient trying to help me, but now it seems I need them to replace the lights or I have to buy new panels for the insides (which I'd rather not do)!

Much much better than the summer set! Plus I don't need to drive through the winter with a set of 17's
