I think you could have had a nice clean looking car, with some nice mods But the grill and the rear view mirros? Despite what you say you are obviously trying to fool people into thinking you have an M-otherwise there is NO reason you would get M-side view mirrors-like what is wrong with the stock mirrors for gosh sakes.
I have to chime in on this... FYI, many people are modyfing their cars with different reasons. Each has its own taste, concept and reason. Saying blatantly about trying to fool people etc, I think it's a bit harsh, especially if you don't hear personally from the owner the reason behind his/her mods. M5 side mirrors are designed beatifully and it improves the look on the non-M5 cars drastically. I personally changed the side mirrors to M5 mirrors, do I want people to think that I have an M5 car? absolutely NO. I just fall in love with the design and suits better with the car.
About the M5 side grill, I wouldn't put them if it was my car. But again, each has its own taste.

My brother in law told me the same.
He wanted me to keep the "new" wheels, but with golden screws instead of chromed, and maybe a chromed centre.
Golden screw look tacky IMO.

Golden caliper and the drilled rotors is nice though. What brand are those?

Caliper is painted stock, and rotors are Blackdiamond combi. Pads are greenstuff also painted.

I like the side grills. In the end, do what makes you happy.

Now THAT is nicely done.
You've added a lot of mods but with taste and, in keeping with the cars' pedigree.
It doesn't look like a soupped -up-boy-racer-bling-machine (nothing against them of course) so congratulations are definitely in order

Sorry if I didn't answer. I posted a M-optics bumper for sale a couple of weeks ago, sold it some days later. Forgot to remove the ad, but it should be removed by now.
