in lebanon,its 1$\L, yeah expensive, but seems more expensive in EU. so i dunno how he ll handle the V10 with those prices.Lets hope he has another car thats 4cylinders

I don't think this is his first concern - the fun of the project and the actual performance is more interesting to concentrate on from his perspective.

Here, France and German the price is similar . In UK is even more expensive, something more than here .

Last summer I filled up in Strasbourg, in France, and I paid it only 1.25/liter : does someone know the reason ?
We have some areas, near border with Switzerland or Slovenia (where the fuel is cheaper), with less taxes (?0.9/liter, it's a dream when you filled up there!), but in Strasbourg .. I can't understand why . Maybe the EU Parliament members want to pay less


Lets hope he has another car thats 4cylinders

After doing the Ring in my 545i last weekend I have started to look at upgrading the brakes to M5.

Is it a straight forward job? bolt on, connect up?

and how much were the rotors/calipers/pads - if you don't mind me asking?

got fading at high speeds as well..?

I'm looking into this as well. It's straight bolt on - my dealer quoted me for a complete new set around 3100euros

ebay: anywhere from 400 to 2000euros

The complete set, brake rotors, callibers, brake pads and lines including shipping to cyprus cost me around 900 GBP, around 1200 euro. Very easy to replace. You will only need two new bolts for the front rotors

Agree with you Andy. My E60 is not my daily car, so i dont mind the petrol prices. I just hope that everything works fine
