I was at my local dealer (Stevens Creek BMW) yesterday and saw that they had a few Dinan parts on clearance. These are brand new items. I wrote down the ones that would apply to E60s. I think they're actually all for the 545:
1) Dinan E60 545 Exhaust: $559.60
2) Dinan E60 Intake: $499.50
3) Dinan E60 545 Throttle Body: $462
Someone should jump on these great deals.

No. I believe there's a slightly different design in the piping for the 550 exhaust.

That said, you might want to call Dinan directly and see if it would be possible for a muffler shop to do some tweaking to make it fit. Should still be a lot less than buying a new exhaust for the 550.
