Hey guys,

So its looking like I either need to buy new tires or roll my fenders. the cheaper route right now seems to be roll fenders, unfortunately no one does it where I'm from. So, I'm looking at buying a fender roller. My question is will this be enough to stop the rubbing? What I've done is installed oem F10 tires onto my e60, when I was running 245/35/19 up front I never rubbed now that I have 245/40/19 I rub when turning. I took a look at my fenders and it seems that from factory the fender flange is not at 90 degrees it looks like its slightly rolled already, so thats why I ask how much extra room will I gain by rolling? and will rolling stop my rubbing?

In the front there isn't much to be gained by rolling. I'd just switch back to 245/35/19 instead. I am surprised you're rubbing, I have 245/35/20 on my car and I'm not rubbing.

yeah I think it is because of how square the tires are now. Trouble with switching back to 245/35/19 is I will have to replace the whole set of tires again.

I'm really just wondering if rolling will be enough?

yeah no shipping to Canada...

Now its just a matter of figuring out if its worth while to just buy a roller...

If I could know for sure that it would fix my rubbing if I rolled then I would buy a roller for sure, but I just can't seem to find a concrete answer. I was hoping that some of the guys who have rubbed before and then rolled could chime in...

Hey Man,

I'm not sure if it will be enough. When I got my Miro M6 wheels, they were rubbing, and the rolling didn't do much. I had to have part of the inner wheel well shaved off and sanded down for it not to rub. The guy that did it was very good, and took his time to do it right.

Hey thanks for the reply. So when you were rubbing how bad was it? Right now I don't rub at all if my wheels are straight, they only rub when turned and really only when making right turns while braking (weight transfered to the right front corner).
