Thanks for clearing that up Gabe. So without the bottle resonators, the car should be able to pass smog right?

It will definitely not pass visual (if they bother to do it and are competent). It may pass measurements. They often do, but it's not 100%.

Thanks Gabe. So do you hear that boys? They've passed smog in CA before, so there's a good chance they will for the 535i.

Once this exhaust is ready for purchase and installation....

Will it be a true bolt on install, or will some welding/fabricating be required?

I believe it will be full bolt, so no welding or fabrication will be required.

test fitting will begin within the next week or so. Pics and sound clips should be ready within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after test fitting. We will post asap. Thanks for your patience guys.

Test fitting will begin Monday to be exact. The prototype/dynos should be ready to roll by 4/10 - 4/15 assuming RPi gets it right with the first shot.

Dbae, is there any ballpark on pricing yet? I am torn between this setup or jumping on the Dinan exhaust you have up for sale. It seems like this will be a killer setup.
