I got the RPI exhaust from another member but never got a chance to install. I don't believe that I ever will, since my wife is sensitive with loud exhaust tone. The setup is fairly new. Please PM for pictures. I prefer local buyer and don't want to deal with shipping. Asking $500.

Thanks for looking.

Edit: Location is NY/NJ.

Looks like your wife and my wife have the same taste. My wife bought me the RPI exhaust, for my 530i, for my birthday and in two months or so I took it off because she wouldn't ride with me. The Drone on the RPI was terrible and once again it was all my fault for choosing a poorly engineered gift.

Anyway,
Good luck with your sale .

Then you know how long this has been sitting in my garage! Let me know if you found some slush fund money.

Hi TheRacerBoss,

Why do you feel the exhaust is poorly engineered? I have that exhaust installed on my 530i and I would agree the drone is nerve racking sometimes, however, my car performs a lot better than before. Is there an exhaust that provides that level of performance gains, looks good, and no or very little drone?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I just went from the Magnaflow universal to the RPI exhaust for the 530 and I can tell you that the sound is worlds better than the magna and the power gain is immediately noticeable over stock. The torque is better and the drone is WAY lower than what I had with the magnaflow. The engine also seems to perform better on shifts and at low RPM. Its a big difference and I'm surprised that a muffler has that much to do with a car's performance. Anyways, I'm very, very happy with the RPI. The tips look amazing, too.

P.S. - I could have saved damn near 300 bucks if only this post showed up 2 weeks ago.

Howitzer,

I'm extremely happy with mine as well, however, when I hear these comments I wonder if there's something better than RPi and so far I haven't seen it.
