Could not sleep yesterday due to bodyache after ACM installation, I did a mini research for simple quad exhaust setup:
1. Remove old muffler and rectangular resonator box
2. Replace rectangular resonator box with this
3. Get two of these 289-17230 http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/serv...744869_-1_10265 (the last one)
4. Get two 3.5" Vibrant exhaust tips: http://stores.channeladvisor.com/verocious...orts/Items/1335?

You now can have a good system What do you think?

The result will be too noisy: try but I guess you will need +2 silencers .

I love those tips, I'm gonna switch mine out for those....

What does the X muffler do? Instead of the resonator?

Thanks!

The x-pipe is a key part of a quad exhaust. It serves to maintain the low-end torque and prevent droning inside the cabin.

X-muffler is a combination of x-pipe (create scavenger effect) and reduce sound at the same time. So, instead of having solid x-pipe and followed by muffler, using this will reduce space. To reduce further noise, I proposed another 2 tubular silencers. Because this is just a feeler thread, expert can chime in before I make decision.
I've been told that Dynanomax is very good exhaust/muffler company. It could be better than Magnaflow.
