I contacted umnitza and talked to them about the DRL harness. It doesn't enable angel eyes as DRL. It's actually a daisy chain to your existing DRL (high beam). They said they never installed it on an E60 before and recommended contacting the dealer to find out where the ECU is to tap into an empty accessory outlet instead which would make the angel ayes run 24/7 (as long as the keys are in the ignition).

So who wants to volunteer to do the R&D on this and write up a DIY w/ pictures?

Since they offered the DRL wiring harness on their website, I thought it was already figured out .. I guess we have to wait and see

Some comments:

1) We are rushing production on these units, so we might be able to start shipping as soon as next week.

2) Wiring harness is not that hard to figure out, so someone enterprising will easily be able to do it. However, yes, we'd like to have a car here so we could get a full write up. You wouldn't be a guinea pig, you'd be a tester.

3) Coolguy, I know you're anxious, but please understand that we are not getting notification on this forum, only checking it occasionally.
Please compose all your questions in a single email and send it to us. 20 PMs is ok, but it will save you time and effort if you just put it all down and let us answer it in one go, then you can post those answers for others. Your questions are good, just summarize them all in one go.

4) We don't need to "push" these products out the door like some will claim, we've sold over 1000 of the V1 units without making false claims, we'll sell 10X that with these if the first few hours are any indication. Now, that being said, we sell ours for $100 less than any other product on the market. That's not too shabby. We're not greedy like some.
