Mods: Tint (lolololol) any ideas?
I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
(WAAAAAYYYYY better than my previous MB E350, but quite a bit more expensive :( )
I wanna paint my exhaust tips matte black.....i wanna know if i will have to take em off or anything and how to do it. can anybody help me? I used the search function to no avail....

As far as prepping, scuff tips with fine sandpaper or steel wool. No need to remove the chrome...just scuff so the paint will stick. Clean well with rubbing alcohol, let dry. Spray with heat paint.....at least 500 degree proof. VHT FlameProof works very well, withstands 1300-2000 degrees, which the tips will never see, and it comes in matte black. I've used the matte black on my turbo exhaust housing on my other car..and it looks as good as it did the day I painted it....good stuff!
