Hi guys,
I did a search of the forum and didn't find what I was looking for. I want to buy the ACS exhaust tips on e-bay but want to be sure I can remove the ones on the car now before I do.
So, how do I remove them? I have seen a thread where there is talk of a clip to push, but I don't see one. They feel like they are really on there. Any help woul dbe great. Thanks!

Hi,
It's not that difficult to remove the stock tips. You need to push the clips with some flat object like a screwdriver or something and then make few turns (in case the tips are stuck or corroded). Then don't hesitate to pull with hand as much as you can and the tip will come out. If you would like me to e-mail you some photos of my 2006 530i stock tips just to have an idea where the clips are located on the inner wall of the tip. Let me know.
