I dont think you'll lose significant power. Just make sure you dont go over the same diameter your stock exhaust has. Also make sure you to get an X-pipe installed.

My mistake, it was 12 HP over the mangaflow. i was reading the torque curve instead of the hp curve!

So the RPI gained 5 to 8 hp? or did the Magnaflow just lose 5 to 8? In other words, what was the baseline hp of that 545i?

the Rpi gained 5 to 8 over the magnaflow.
